The Practice And Research Of Phytotherapy In Senior Housing Real Estate Landscape Design

Nature and health are closely related to each other.Nature treatment can bring a unique and amazing effect on both human's both physiological and psychological perspective.The rapid growth of urbanization is eventually isolated us from our nature environment and makes us live among the concrete buildings.Landscaping as a the art of living may create a pathway that people are able to return and feel the nature.In the process of urbanisation,there has been quite amount of landscaping projects around us,and they appears to be perfectly-looked,however,few of these landscaping projects are can meet people's expectations as the over-luxury design actually cause us to feel impulsive instead of capturing its healing function.Nowadays,people is realising that plants play a significant role in treat mental as well as physical issues and start to pay a close attention to applying plant therapy into landscaping.Aging,Sub-health,and Psychological disorders have become the major issues in the society.The concern on how we take care of aging group is an issue that all professional sectors try to cope with.From our point of view,how to apply plant therapy into landscape design and planning,and to provide the treatment and health care function to the seniors have become an important subject that need to be attended to in the current landscape design.This article has applied a range of research methodologies including index searching,case study,general as well as diagram analysis,and some data are collected at overseas research resources.This article firstly examines the theoretical base of plant therapy and clarify its function mechanisms,functioning targets and treatment methods,and then apply these theories into practice by discussing the methods of landscape design based on physiotherapy and key points regarding nursing garden &rehabilitation garden.Lastly,the article conclude that we will need to further promote the idea of enhancing landscaping therapy in our community and further research on the subject of horticultural therapy.These will contribute to moving forward the idea of plant therapy in the procedure of landscaping.
