The Research On Conservation And Renewal Of Historical Buildings And Sites In Manchuanguan Town

With the acceleration of China's economic development and urbanization,the preservation for buildings of those historical towns are getting more and more aroused social concern.Manchuanguan is a typical case of urban development in southern Shaanxi,which has the special research value especially in historical building's protection.This article treats the Manchuanguan town's historic buildings and its place as the object of the study,after getting through in-depth research,and using the type of architecture,urban planning,sociology,science,behavioral science together,it becomes an interdisciplinary approach to Manchuan's historic buildings and places form parsing and further renovation.The article is based on the related theory of historical building protection and makes a critical review and analysis of research status at home and abroad.It included some typical Germany historical buildings and their environments and summarized some protection modes and system experiences.After the field research in Manchuan's historical buildings and their place,and analyzed the historical buildings' features,protection values and existing problems,then combined with the conversations among local residents and the government.The study can proposed corresponding protection methods,measures and programmes through researches of Manchuan's historical building environment together with their current situations under the three levels protection areas of core scope,development control area and buffer zone.And refined the experiences of Manchuan's historical buildings protection and renewal in the end.Under the new requirements from the government about characteristic town's construction,it made a preliminary study of Chinese historical buildings protection and renewal in ancient villages and towns,it reflected the shortcomings during the recent years' actual projects of Manchuanguan,and aimed at this difficulties during the protection,the writer put forward several adaptive and operability protection strategy among the three protected areas.This study was funded by the "Twelfth Five-Year" national science and technology support program—research and demonstration of community function promote in northwest area historical and cultural towns and villages.
