Research On The Design And Application Of Local Culture In Resettlement Area

Since the reform and opening-up,China's economic development has been steadily on the increase,and the pace of urbanization has been moving forward constantly.With the accelerated process of urbanization,the suburban villages are disappearing gradually,and the local culture is declining increasingly.The scale and the number of cities are becoming larger,and the rural population is rushing into the cities;the housing problem has become the primary problem that the government needs to solve.The construction of resettlement communities is the key measure to solve the problem of the resettlement of residents,and the resettlement communities have therefore entered into a period of unprecedented development.The construction mode of resettlement communities is a copy of that of the common communities,the result of which is that the landscapes in modern residential areas are all in the same key and lack geographical characteristics.Therefore,one important subject of the studies of the contemporary landscape design is how to apply the local culture to the landscape design of resettlement communities and how to construct the resettlement communities with regional characteristics and local cultural atmosphere.Aiming at the above problems,this paper discusses how to apply the local culture to the landscape design of resettlement communities mainly through field research,literature review,summary and induction,practical cases and other methods.Firstly,it makes the relevant definition of the concepts of “local culture” and “resettlement communities”,and makes a brief analysis of them respectively.At the same time,through the field research of the resettlement communities in Xi'an,it summarizes the relevant problems which are universal in the landscape design of resettlement communities at the present stage.Secondly,through the collection and analysis of the local cultural resources in Xi'an,it aims to extract the elements of nature and humanity in local culture.This paper discusses the design principles of the elements of the local cultural landscapes in Xi'an as well as the methods and concrete forms of applying the natural and human elements of local culture to the landscape design of resettlement communities.Finally,it combines the relevant principles and methods of applying the local culture with the practical case of Mijiaya community.Fundamentally speaking,the study of the application of local culture in the landscape design of resettlement communities is a kind of protection of the memory of residential areas and an inheritance way of the regional culture.It is necessary to fully excavate and apply the natural and human elements of local culture,to use the appropriate design techniques to innovate and reconstruct the local culture so that it can show a new look in front of the world,and to build a living environment which conforms to the living habits and aesthetic needs of the residents in resettlement areas.With the combination of the local culture with the landscape design of resettlement communities,each resettlement community will show its unique characteristics of local culture.I hope this paper will have referential significance and guiding function for the future studies of the practical cases of resettlement communities.
