Research On The Application Of Local Culture In Vernacular Landscape Design

Local culture is the treasure of our traditional culture,In the current new rural construction,Local culture is an important cultural foundation of the new rural construction planning,has important economic value and humanistic value.China’s urban landscape design research started late so that it has less experience.many rural constructions are still following the design of urban landscape concept,ignoring the local cultural landscape elements,blindly imitating the city’s landscape construction seeking "new " and " foreign ",that ultimately leads to the huge impact of urban culture to vernacular landscape.The protection of the cultural and characteristic of the native landscapes has become an important task for the development and transformation of rural landscapes.In this new rural construction environment,the remodeling and regeneration of the local culture is an urgent problem to be solved.It will provide a strong cultural support and spiritual support for the beautiful rural construction.In the local landscape design,how to express the multi-dimensional local culture is a question worthy of study.This paper starts from the concept of local culture,summed up the characteristics of local culture,systematically analyzed the dialectical relationship between local culture and landscape design,and summarizes the value and importance of local culture.Secondly,this paper investigates the problems existing in the new rural landscape reconstruction through the practice research method and analyzes the reasons for this,On this basis,the article explains the principles and ideas of the local culture in the vernacular landscape design,introduces the specific application methods and steps of the local culture in landscape design.Taking "China’s top ten beautiful villages"-bamboo spring village transformation-for instance,expounds the fusion,innovation and reengineering of landscape design.Finally,analyzed from different angles the practical significance of the protection of rural cultural landscape,explore the modern value of vernacular landscapes,and makes a useful exploration for the heritage and protection of the local culture.
