Design And Application Of SCADA System For Guangzhou Pump Storage Power Station

Guangzhou Pumped Storage Power Station(GPSPS)is China's first large-capacity pumped storage power station.It is composed of two workshops,each of which has 4 sets of storage units with a rated capacity of 300 MW.The GPSPS A plant Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition(SCSDA)is a computer-based,remote monitoring,automatic operation of the intelligent hierarchical distributed dual backup control system.Over time,the leading systems have lagged behind.Mainly in two aspects: First,limited to the level of computer development at the time,the design of hardware and software can not meet the current needs.Such as the CCCD,the system software is developed with Fox Base,the interface is poor,single function,and run on the DOS platform;system maintenance station is SUN 3/80 computer,the computer is the host computer of workstation,Its shutdown date was 1987,and even the latest computers have a 20-year history.Second,the system is aging,failure rate increases.This paper aims at the design and development of SCADA system of GPSPS.Firstly,the selection of equipment of new SCADA system is introduced,and hardware configuration and program configuration are described.Secondly,it introduces the new SCADA system equipment selection.Then,it mainly designs the Hydroprocess of the SCADA.Finally,the system debugging,and complete the design of the whole system.this paper solved some of the major shortcomings,such as failure to start and stop the unit due to program calculation loophole.And on the basis of the original SCADA,add functions sunch as multi-scheduling load transfer,Intelligent detection of unit state,optimize protocol communication with the three schedules.In order to meet the increasing demands of the automatic control network to provide effective technical support.
