The commercial nuclear power system AP1000,imported from American Westinghouse company in 2006,has become the professional commercial nuclear reactor system in China's three generation nuclear power technology program.These technologies in AP1000 system have been completed in the construction of Sanmen Nuclear Power Station and Haiyang Nuclear Power Station.Furthermore,the constructions of nuclear power system AP1000 in Lufeng,Xu Dabao,Taohua river,Cangzhou Nuclear Power Station are carried out.However,the chemical volume supplementing water(CVS)pump supporting nuclear power system AP1000 has always been imported from abroad.In view of this situation,the present paper makes a deep investigation on CVS pump,which laids emphasis on the design,manufacturing,testing of CVS.The main work is as follows:(1)The design and verification of CVS pump hydraulic model.According to the requirement of the flow head parameter,the performance curve is supposed to be in the middle range of flow curve area.A closed centrifugal impeller with low specific speed is used and matched with a open guide vane.Besides,multi operation situation design methods are also applied during research.Investigations on improving efficiency and cavitation performance are conducted in the present paper.ANSYS-CFX software is used to predict the performances of different impellers.Based on the CFD result,the performance meeting with the requirement is selected as the hydraulic model.(2)The design scheme of the CVS(AP1000)structure design has been detailed clarified,and the characteristics of structural design are expounded.This thesis focuses on the design method of water pump pressure boundary,the scheme of shafting pivot point location,the calculation of rotor strength.Double balanced drum for axial force balance design is proposed.The key points during structure design are illustrated from parameter,material,and other aspects.Finally,finite element analysis calculation is used to verify the pressure boundary,the pump supporting pivot,the critical speed.The structural integrity analysis results prove that the pump meets with the requirements of technical specification under various operation conditions,when the pump has been influenced by the synthetic effect of pressure,weight,nozzle load and seismic load.Based on the design of proto CVS(AP1000)pump,the performance feasibility test,the vibration and noise test,the pressure-dropping start test,durability test and other tests have confirmed the feasibility and reasonable of pump design.The conclusion of pump design and pump manufacturing process prove that the structure of the CVS pump is feasible and safe for stable operation.
