At present,China’s nuclear technology is constantly developing and bringing a steady stream of power for the development of the society and economy.Nuclear technology is bringing us great benefits and at the same time it has also become an important factor affecting the safety of society and individuals because of its own characteristics.Therefore,the monitoring of radiation dose has become a very important task.The personal dosimeter has the function of monitoring the radiation dose and can give a prompt to the safety of the staff.Now,most of the products of dosimeter are using G-M counter as the probe of the detector and the dose measurement is achieved by counting.And the majority of the products have problems of high power consumption,large size,and inconvenient to wear.Therefore,a new type of nuclear radiation dosimeter was designed based on SiPM detector,mainly used to monitor γ-ray and X-ray in the environment.The development of the new dosimeter is based on the SiPM detector,LYSO:Ce scintillator and CC2650 microcontroller.Among them,SiPM is a new type of photomultiplier device;LYSO: Ce is a good performance scintillator;and CC2650 is ultra-low power consumption MCU,supporting Bluetooth 4.0 BLE.The probe of the detector of the new dosimeter consists of SiPM and LYSO:Ce scintillator,and the new dosimeter get the information the dose by measuring the energy of the radiation.The dosimeter has the function of the pulse signal amplification,shaping,sampling and can communicate through Bluetooth.After testing,the circuit design of the new dosimeter meets the requirements and it can complete the measurement of dose and complete the Bluetooth information transmission with the phone.Compared to the common dosimeters,the new dosimeter has the following characteristics:1.The new dosimeter uses a new type detector and an ultra-low power consumption MCU and easy to integration and miniaturization.It also has the characteristics of low power consumption and intelligent.2.The dose information is obtained by measuring the energy of the radiation rather than counting the plus of the radiation by using G-M counter.According to the definition of the dose,this way is more reasonable.In short,the design of the dosimeter based on low power consumption,miniaturization and intelligent.The dosimeter achieves the purpose of the design.And because of the Bluetooth function,it can also be more intelligent in future development.
