Stacker and reclaimer are used in various industries more widely than before, in many place traditional forms of stacker and reclaimer can't fulfill the requirements in industry. Germany, the United States and other developed countries have conducted improvement for the traditional stacker and reclaimer. China is also developing and improving the new type stacker and reclaimer, which provides new opportunities and new challenges for our designers. This article analyzes the principle and structure of traditional bridge type scraper reclaimer, and offers a new solution for material with too much water, that is, to change the traditional scraper to bucket. It involves the pointed analysis the bucket structure, including the calculation of the ability and drive power of bucket. The bucket model is created by three-dimensional software with improved driving system, catch wheel, eake system as well as guiding system; the bridge structure is analyzed and verified via Finite element technique. The advantage of the bucket is proved by comparing it with the traditional bridge type scraper reclaimer under specific working conditions. According to the results of the on-site test, it is concluded that the bucket-type bridge type scraper reclaimer can solve the problem that the material with too much water. At last, the parameterized design of rake system is realized by Inventor software, which improves the design efficiency. This article has designed according to the actual situation of the scraper, it's have great helpful to solve the site problems of bridge type scraper reclaimer. It avoids many defectives in design. It will give resolve and reference to the similar problem in future.
