The large bridge scraper reclaimer is a kind of large modern cement equipmentwhich can constantly load material. It can get rid of different unfavorable factors, suchas poor working conditions, rigid amount requirement of stacking material, rigorousmaterial features and so on, and work efficiently and constantly. Its structure is refined,the force loading on every component is well-distributed and reasonable, steady andreliable, and the interchangeability of every accessory is good, convenient to repair.The stacker beam is the main skeleton of the reclaimer, together with scraper,chain, rake, and other components completing stacking. To reduce the manufacturingand transportation cost, and to expand the enterprise profits, the structure of thereclaimer and optimization design attract designers’ attentions. At present,truss girder becomes the main structural form of large reclaimer, therefore, analysis ofits force and optimization design makes a big sense.This paper mainly focus on designing the structure of the main beam of thebridge scraper reclaimer, force feature analysis and structural optimization design tomeet the requirement of declining the cost and decreasing the mass of the main beamunder the design scale. This research main content is as follow.(1) Learning about the basic theories of metal structural design, knowing theprinciple of infinite element and handling the large analysis software—ANSYS andoperation method of the software, providing theory foundation to the following work.(2) Extensively investigating and reorganizing the field using state of the trussgirder, tubular girder and girder type stacker, distinguishing the their advantages anddisadvantages, according to the practical conditions to elaborate reasonable project.Further to analyse the features of different forms of the truss girder stacker, andconfirm the final structural plan of the reclaimer. After setting up the plan, usingSolidworks, a kind of3D CAD software, to establish the3D model, and reasonablysimplify the model.(3) About the force feature analysis, this paper main do some research on itsstatic and dynamic characteristics. The static characteristics mainly focus on thedeformation and stress distribution of the main beam when it loads static force; thedynamic characteristics mainly focus on the inherent vibration characteristics of thereclaimer and whether it would occur resonance phenomenon when the reclaimer was input stimulus from outside.(4) The optimization design of the reclaimer used the basic parameters of theinternal steel, steel pipe, steel plate girder as design variables. When it meets thepremise of the stiffness, strength requirements, to decline the mass of the entireequipment and decreasing the manufacturing and transportation cost. After doingsome optimistic design, the mass of the entire equipment decreased985Kg, althoughthe stress increased, it didn’t obstacle the practical using, and the cost ofmanufacturing and transportation declined.
