With the rapid development of Chinese social economy,urban boundary spread disorderly and brings serious environmental problems.One of the basic characteristics of city is uncertainty.The urban will sustainable development if we deal with properly,otherwise it will brings too much social,economic and environmental problems.Community is a compound ecosystem with the SocialEconomic-Environment complexed.Social subsystem,Economic subsystem and Environment subsystem interact and depend on each other.Community basic function embodies three aspects——living,production and ecology.It needs corresponding 3I(Living Infrastructure,Ecological Infrastructure,Productive Infrastructure)to support.3I is different from traditional infrastructure facilities.It has the characteristics such as antecedence,fundamentality,subjectivity and irreplaceability.It is a indivisible whole and can not be simplified.It is the important carrier of community development.The paper researches the spatial coupling pattern for community 3I including elements and patterns by analysing the ststus quo problem for Chinese community infrastructure planning and in the guidance of the theory of SEE,New Urbanism,Reverse Planning and so on.Firstly,paper defines the concepts,classification and constituent elements for each infrastructure.Secondly,it discusses different functional patterns due to difference between 3I and put forwards two ways to achieve ideal pattern.Finally,paper studies space coupling for community according to basic spatial patterns.The content contains coupling mechanism,coupling basis,methods,etc.Then it puts forwards three kinds of typical demonstrations for 3I coupling patterns.The paper selects Qitaihe fermentation community as the practice case.It explores from the aspects such as facilities classification,spatial structure and so on to solve the existing and increasingly prominent problems in community development.It proves the applicability and operability of 3I planning pattern and providing demonstration for planning of sustainable urban communities.3I planning for sustainable community abandons the idea of “human-oriented” and considers people with biological co-exist at the same time.It put ecological pattern in the first.3I planning is a much complex spatial planning based on EI.It really realizes the harmonious coexistence with the environment.This study is a innovation and breakthrough in concept and practice,the results are accumulation and enrichment for theory of sustainable community.
