Analysis On The Layout Of Community Public Facilities Based On Residents' Daily Activity-travel Characteristics

Under the context of intensification-oriented development,city repair has become a primary measure to improve the quality of inventory spaces,and optimizing the community public facilities allocation is an important part of it.The matching degree between facilities allocation and residents' daily acticities demands determines the residents' life quality directly,and thus,we have to optimize the allocation of facilities based on human-oriented planning model.According to the contexts above,analysing and optimizing the community public service facilities layout from the perspective of residents' daily activity travel behaviour is the main issue that is discussed in the study and it takes typical communities in Xi'an for a case study.There are three main parts of the study including overall characteristic study,case analysis and opitimizing suggestions.Firstly,it is the theory research.By reviewing the key points of behavior space theory and summarizing the relevant conclusions and experience of the researches on the public service facilities allocation from the perspective of behavior,it makes the research route to guide the following study process.Secondly,it is characteristic study,to understand residents' daily activities and related travel behaviour.Based on the residents travel information including travel frequency and travel distance,the study divides the daily activity patterns into three types and verifies the correlation between facility layout and daily activities.Thirdly,it is case study.Combined with three typicle communities,this paper analyses the spatial relationship between the daily activity space and the layout of facilities in limit walking distance of 1500 meters from the community,to figure out the problems of the facility layout from the aspects of behavior and the space.Finally,putting out suggestions on the optimizing of facilities layout and the reconstruction of facilities service circles.There are four main conclusions drawn in this paper.First of all,the travel behavior of market shopping,exercise and bank business is similar for residents' walking preference,while the travel behavior picking up kids,daily necessities shopping and leisure activities is quiet different.Secondly,distance,service quality and block scale is the main factor that the facilities layout related to individual daily activities;And then,the perfection of the layout of public service facilities on community level can promote the aggregation of individual daily activity space and their walking behaviour.At last,it is suggested to optimize the community facilities service circle under the principle of convenience and openness to amend the inadequate living circles in danwei communities and surburb commercial housing community in Xi'an city.
