The Study Of Art Features Of Shanxi Taoist Architecture By Taking Wanrong Houtu Temple As An Example

In the area of Chinese traditional architectural art,Taoist architectural art shows with its unique way.The perfectly spread of its architectural art form is based on the prosperity of Taoist culture and Taoism system gradually growth.Being a native religion system in China,Taoism formed in the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Period,the origin of Taoism is the most traditional and primitive worship and belief.The origin of Houtu culture is the worship to the land,and then slowly,“The Earth”becomes a personal god.As far as the Taoist architectural art itself is concerned,its development has gone through a variety of different stages,one hand is its rise and fall,and another hand is its historical context.Being a kind of religious architectural style,Taoism building not only conforms to the ethics of Confucian thought advocated,but with an obvious color of etiquette.The Taoism architectures of the rural and urban area in the unique local architectural space settlement are generally in the important positions.The Taoism architectural settlements,some are like palace buildings which are generally magnificent,some are like the traditional village buildings which are generally free.Houtu culture formed in the Western Han Dynasty,its origin place is Fen Yin(now the confluence of Yellow River and Fenhe River),as the central God of the Taoist culture,She is the Jade Emperor of the spouse,"Houtu gods" is for the emperor and the Taoist God "the four / six royal royal" in fourth heaven.In the "ten layer table immortal",it is at the top.This paper studies the Wanrong Houtu temple worship in the Houtu shape of Nu Wa.This study chooses Houtu culture phenomenon as a starting point.This study also demonstrates that the formation of Houtu culture building,Houtu distribution and spatial characteristics,Houtu building value and the protection and the concerning of Taoism architecture architectural art connotation in Shanxi Province.Taking Wanrong Houtu temple as an example,this article analyses the plane layout,space layout,decoration artlanguage of Taoism architecture.The Houtu temple is located in Wanrong County,Yuncheng,Shanxi province southwest of Shanxi province,where is in the south.This area is the intersection of Fenhe River and the Yellow River,where is one of the birthplaces of the Chinese civilization.This paper mainly used the case analysis as the basic data sources,enumerate and analogy.On the basis of Shanxi province Houtu architectural art cognition,making the local characteristic fully emerged,getting the Houtu buildings’ layout and evaluating its artistic value,further demonstrates the ways and means of protection to the prospect of its sustainable development direction.
