The development of bus transportation has the first priority in solving the problems in urban traffic such as congestion,pollution and shortage of road resources.The bus network technology contributes a lot in making bus transportation much better.In the existing bus transportation scheduling system,B/S(Browser/server)architecture is widely used,which results in great computational pressure on the server.The existing bus transportation information service system mostly has sole function.Supported by the project "Application technology development of the bus network based on cognitive radio",the research is mainly concerned about the bus network scheduling and information service system,and it includes the following aspects:Firstly,we research the background and key technologies of the bus network scheduling and information service system.Based on the spot investigation of bus transportation enterprises in major cities in China,including Beijing,Shanghai,Shenzhen,Chengdu,Wuxi etc,we summarizes the existing problems in the existing systems.And then,based on the research results,from the angles of bus passenger and bus scheduling personnel,we analyze the system requirements.In the system design,we use C/S architecture,in which PC client is for bus scheduling personal and mobile client is for bus passenger.In order to meet the system requirements,we design the functions of the system,in which the scheduling functions include bus position monitoring,dynamic generation of the bus start plan,operation information query,dynamic scheduling assistant and information service functions cover real-time information query,arrival reminder,transfer scheme query,nearby station query,position sharing.Finally,we extensively study client and server development technologies and determine the technical route of the system.We research the realization mechanisms of the functions of the system.In the server side,we use the hierarchical architecture and apply Servlet,Spring and Hibernate.We divide both clients into different modules according to different functions while each module of the PC client is implemented with Qt and each module of the mobile client is implemented based on Android.In the end,we test the system in different ways,which prove that the normal operation and the performance of the system is excellent and it can help bus scheduling personnel to carry out scheduling work effectively and provide easy access to a wealth of information service for the bus passengers.
