At present,with the rapid development of economy and the increasing number of motor vehicles,the coverage of expressway mileage has been increasing sharply,while the expressway traffic pressure and traffic safety risks had become a widespread concern problems.Faced to the complex and varied road conditions,it is very common that the traffic accidents have occurred during the trip for the drivers and passengers duo to the lack of effective traffic safety information.Therefore,the safe,convenient and personalized traffic information services gradually aroused people's attention in the public daily travel.As for the existing expressway traffic safety information service system,there are two mainly problems:(1)it cannot be provide personalized services for the drivers and passengers based on the vehicle travel routes and current location;(2)the LBS(Location Based Service)POI(Point Of Interest)retrieves the keywords that need to be input by the user,and this process may cause the traffic safety information to be pushed out of time.With the popularity of smart phones and development of Baidu map technology,it can effectively solve the above problems by designing and developing a traffic information active pushing system based on the Android map POI retrieve.In order to improve the retrieval efficiency of the system,a POI retrieval algorithm based on map projection was presented and implemented in the paper.It used the projection principle to make the map gridded,then put forward the G_Cell algorithm.The experimental results show that the proposed G_Cell algorithm is more stable and effective than the algorithm of direct distance calculation between two points.According to the vehicle's latitude and longitude information,the server retrieved the traffic safety information and pushed to the Android terminal,then the Android terminal display the traffic safety information directly through Baidu map in real-time,it can also give the texture message and voice remind to the drivers and passengers.The system implemented in the paper can provide timely and effective personalized traffic safety information according to the vehicle location information.Finally,in order to verify the system effectiveness and feasibility,it used multiple Android phones for many different condition testing,the system can be able to work properly,and all the functions achieve the desired results.
