In China,the participatory methods have been applied in many fields,but in the field of landscape planning and design applications rarely.Access to a large number of literature,we can learn from the few cases in this area.Almost all the traditional planning and design projects are "top-down,experts complete" design pattern,from the perspective of the leaders and designers themselves to design,with little or no in-depth research to dig out the effective Of the project information,nor to seek the views and suggestions of the local people,the lack of consideration of the interests of local people,the majority of the masses are basically no power to participate in planning and design.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the application of participatory method in landscape planning and design,including its application method and concrete steps,which can provide reference and reference for the application of participatory method in garden planning and design,and offer some meager power for the development of China's landscape planning and design areas.This paper studies the application of participatory methods in landscape planning and design,and uses research methods such as text analysis,related interviews,field research,comparison and induction.First of all,through a large number of literature on the participatory method of theoretical research,including the research background,the relevant field of literature review,research purposes and significance,research methods and content,related concepts,design principles and other aspects of theoretical basis.Combined with the current landscape planning and design of their own characteristics,and the author of a large number of participatory approach to the application of the relevant examples of experience and results,as well as involved in a number of garden planning and design projects of personal insights,comprehensive summary of the proposed participatory approach in landscape planning The application of the four basic principles,the specific steps-four stages,six commonly used participatory tools,so as to use the full participation of the garden planning and design projects-Jinan Yuntai Si Country Park planning and design projects.The next stage of the process analysis and demonstration,from the preparation stage,the research stage,the problem analysis and the project design stage and the planning result output stage of the four stages,demonstrate the participatory method in the Yuntai Temple Country Park in each concrete step Methods,content and results.I have repeatedly to the project site field research,and many times with the stakeholders of the semi-structured interviews,this practice as an example to conduct a detailed demonstration.Finally,I hope that the participatory approach in the garden planning and design gradually promote,can become the most basic tool for designers,so that the design works more scientific and rational,with local characteristics,to meet the needs of the public and popular,and try to promote the development of landscape planning and design.
