Study On The Planning And Design Of The Urban Country Park

Recent years, as the result of the rapid development of China’s urbanization process, urban population increase rapidly, and the amount of green spaces which are distributed in urban centers cannot meet the needs of urban residents. The crowded urban environment not only brought a series of serious problems, such as Urban Heat Island Effect and air pollution,but also imprisoned people’s instinct eager of returning to natural. As a burgeoning green space, Country Park is now playing a significant role in protecting of the natural resources and semi-natural resources in Suburbs which are located in a ecologically fragile zone. The article takes the planning and designing of the Country Park as a research object, and completed the project practice-Shilong River Country Park by literature review and case analysis, which is to provide reference for similar projects latter.The article finished a reviewed research of the Country Park with the literature research. Firstly, the article demonstrated the concept and development of country parks and then summed up the characteristics of Country Park in terms of location, recreation activities, services and other facilities by contrasting with other types of green space.The articles selected Gu Cun Park, Wusongpaotaiwan Park and Beijing Nanhaizi park three typical cases, and summarized the design methods by combining with theoretical research; The paper also applied the method to the practical project-Weifang Shilonghe Country Park. In the case of design, the park is divided to visiting resort, half visiting resort and prohibit resort, according to the degree of ecological vulnerability,in which designed different landscape spots, culminating the layout features of "one axis, two rivers, multi areas "; The paper also elaborated the design methods from the perspective of architecture landscaping element; Taking into account the specific of the recreation activities, the paper explained the design skills of recreation spots from site selection, surrounding plants configuration, layout, and other aspects; As an important form of activities organization,the trail system is designed on the base of the design features of Hong Kong Country Park,and the park set up three featured trail-Color Plant Trail, Family Trail and Ecological Health Characteristics Trail. The design of the Shilong River Park pay attention to reflect the natural rustic charm, outdoor activities to experience and the ecology protection.
