Nowadays,the country is advocating independent and creative enviroment.Many key of technologies in the automobile industry are the spots what we concerned.The ball cage universal joint is an important part of the car drive system,which is mainly composed of outcover,star cover,cage and a number of steel balls.And It plays an important role to transfer heavy driving torque.Because the ball cage universal joint has a high transmission accuracy and heavy load transfer ability,It is necessary to check each workpieces,and the detection of the cage is the core of this paper.The traditional manual detection method that is detecting of the cage has been used at domestic.It needs enormous labour,but the test of results are not ideal,so It's an urgent need to develop a cage automatic detection device.In this paper,according to the design requirements of the product combined with the mechanical structure of cage detection device,then design a hardware circuit of the control part of the detection device and completed the program preparation by the reasonable program flow chart,finally research and analysis the key technology of the detection device.The research contents are as follows:(1)According to the specific working principle of the grating sensor,Firstly it is designed a six-tunnel encoder board and draw the encoder board schematic and PCB picture.And then it combines with the existing hardware platform to complete the overall hardware structures.Finally,by the mechanical structure of the testing device,the whole software is designed and realized by programming.(2)After the machine can be normally operated,it begins to test the device for precision testing.The factors which is affecting the measurement accuracy are analyzed theoretically,the relevant factors are confirmed by simulation experiments.The factors which is affecting the measurement accuracy are analyzed Engineering,which is analysising the data andmaking the appropriate improvement,until the measurement device accuracy can meet certain requirements.(3)The dynamic operation of the device is further studied,it bases on the the requirement of the accuracy of the detection device.A solution that is proposed for the problems encountered in the operation of the detection device.Through a large number of simulation experiments,data analysis and equipment installation improvements,and ultimately which completed the equipment reseach and debugging and met the design requirements.The equipment has been delivered to the company,but it also continues to follow up the project,and the introduction of equipment updates in the follow-up work.
