Studying how to obtain large-aperture grating has become the direction of an important subject of experts in many countries including China. Grating mosaic technology has obvious advantages to obtain large-aperture gratings. Its key technology is how to guarantee the accuracy of adjusting and the location of tiled grating.This requires a higher adjustment precision and higher mechanical stability.This paper based on the technical difficulties of the mosaic equipment to design the device and do detailed theoretical analyses. First, the thesis designed a mosaic equipment for three gratings and a body-posture adjusting device for the whole grating.Second, established the whole finite element model of grating device, investigated rigid parts and flexible parts'effect on mosaic equipment performance, static analysis and the low order natural frequencies and the mode of vibration based on the dynamics analysis, offered exact data for realization of control system.Third, with geometry analysis method, deduced the drive coupling equation of mosaic device, established the relationship of adjustment parameters and driving feeds, which providing theoretical ground for mosaic mechanism. Simulated the driving system by FEM. Analyzed the pose of tandem mechanism, the inverse position analysis and studied controlling arithmetic of the whole body-posture adjusting device. Analyzed control chains, obtained the degree of freedom motion control function.Finally, through the five-dimensional mosaic equipment experiment and the overall position and orientation adjustment mechanism associated testing experiment, studied the rationality of the design and verification of the accuracy of theoretical research. In conclusion, the device has reached the relevant technical requirements and can be used in project.
