Home-decoration Project Management&Cost Optimization

Recently,with the development of China's market economy,the per capita income level of Chinese residents has been increasing.Therefore,as an enthusiasm of a comfortable living environment,the home-decoration becomes much more common than before.Unfortunately,there are many problems in home-decoration market at present.The cost of the home-decoration is wasted heavily.The market is not standard and the legal system of it is imperfect.Besides,there are many problems about the quality of decoration,but it is difficult for people to defend their rights,for the lack of the management from the government.For the purpose of solving above problems,it seems to be deadly necessary to manage the home-decoration projects and optimize their costs.Home-decoration has two characteristics such as productive nature and service nature.In essence,home-decoration industry is more likely a service industry.An industry in different age shows different characteristic,therefore also has different industry management pattern.The pattern of home-decoration developed from rough decoration,second decoration and fine decoration to the full renovation.Because the rough houses that were offered by developers have appeared many problems,the Ministry of Construction promulgated a related policy to order the developers to offer the fully furnished houses in 2002.According to the current situation,this policy is a proposed policy rather than a mandatory policy.This paper takes the Youngor as an example to analyze and conclude some experiences about the cost optimization.No matter which kind of model has been chosen,the adornment enterprises must strengthen the internal management of their organization so as to improve the level of competitiveness.This paper tries to come up with some management measures in order to strengthen the management of home-decoration projects,such as philosophy,system construction,human resources,organization.At last,this paper also puts forwards the suggestions and ideas of the home-decoration enterprise's future development.
