With the rapid development of urban economy and society,the scale of city is expanding and the speed of motor vehicle is increasing rapidly.The parking problem of urban dilemma is becoming more and more serious.The parking facilities in many cities are not enough and the resources are insufficient.The problem of unbalanced parking has become a serious problem of urban transportation and even the social and livelihood problems.However,increasing the parking demand blindly may cause the problem of traffic congestion.Especially for the new urban area facing TOD development,reasonable parking demand Which is conducive to the formation of reasonable urban traffic structure.In view of this,this paper sets up the parking demand model of the new urban area for the development of TOD based on the factors of parking demand in the new urban area under the TOD concept.The specific research contents are as follows:In this paper,firstly,based on the literatures and research results on the impact of TOD on parking demand at home and abroad,this paper analyzes the shortcomings of existing literatures and finds that domestic demand for new urban development for TOD is still not involved.The main parking related norms were discussed,summed up the TOD on the parking demand reduction of the important role,but the lack of relevant scientific basis.Secondly,the connotation of TOD is discussed in this paper,which is elaborated from the aspects of TOD concept,TOD form and function,TOD connotation in China.Based on the characteristics of urban new urban parking demand and the function of TOD,this paper analyzes the influencing factors of urban parking demand under the TOD concept,and puts forward the TOD planning and strategy of reasonable allocation of parking demand.Furthermore,this paper analyzes the three kinds of parking demand models commonly used,and points out the shortage of the three models.Starting from the travel cost,according to the travel cost under different distances will affect the travel structure,set up travel models under different travel distances,Based on the TOD planning and development in the new urban area of the city,the paper puts forward the importance of taking the rail transit into account when designing the parking demand forecasting,designs the new urban parking demand model for the TOD development,which makes the urban land development and parking supply overall benefit To achieve the best.Finally,this paper takes the Hangzhou Bay New District as an example to study the model,and analyzes the urban planning,layout and so on of the Binhai New City of Hangzhou Bay New Area.Based on the analysis,the TOD area of the orbit site The parking demand of the study area is compared with that calculated by the traditional code.The result shows that the parking demand is 17.71%less than the standard method.
