The 21st century is an era of rapid development, energy is indispensable to human beings. Natural resources such as oil, coal and other estimates can only be used in the middle of the 21st century. Oil, coal and other incomplete combustion will produce carbon dioxide and other harmful gases, these gases will cause damage to the atmosphere structure, so the search for new green energy is imminent, as an important green energy, solar energy is gradually used by people. Common solar applications such as solar panels are fixed, cannot absorb sunlight effectively, in some solar applications such as the lighting of solar fiber, the accuracy is very high, ordinary tracking system cannot meet their needs. Aiming at these problems, this thesis studies and implements a solar tracking system, which combines the GPS sensor and optical sensor to locate the sun quickly and track it accurately.Firstly, the general design scheme, mechanical structure, hardware architecture and program flow scheme of solar tracking system are summarized.Secondly, according to the optical design requirements of solar fiber into indoor lighting application, the design of optical sensor is analyzed. At the same time, the design scheme of GPS and acceleration sensor is given.Thirdly, the hardware circuit of the system adopts the reasonable circuit structure,and takes the DSP chip as the core, E2PROM chips is introduced for data storage, 485 is used for the serial communication chip, the motor drive is used for the signal output chip, and uses the Hall sensor as the auxiliary circuit to form a complete circuit system.The system software section sets the tracking status, including the idle state, the horizontal adjustment state, the vertical adjustment state, the fine tuning state and the blind recovery state. State between the conditions can be transformed into each other,forming a closed-loop tracking algorithm.Finally, the thesis analyzes the tracking effect and summarizes the whole content,and looks forward to the further research of the solar tracking system.Through the above work, the accuracy and speed of the solar tracking system has been greatly improved. In the field of the solar fiber lighting applications, the system can provide a stable natural light, the user experience is also very good.
