Theory Link&Place study and practice has been going on in the abroad for several years,relevant successful experience comparatively rich,but the domestic research and applications in this aspect in the initial stage,the research is still not deep enough and detailed.At the same time,the domestic research on pedestrian traffic is still the most existing in the city road single dimensional space problems,and will study the combination of weaker study city space activities and the traffic behavior,and this part of the study for the majority of cases of qualitative analysis,lack of the data to quantify the problem of not fully support the objectivity and the typicality of the conclusion.This study from the city traffic and city space of two dimensions of position,through qualitative and quantitative analysis of the traffic situation on the gallery walk cross the core area of Tiexi region,can run status indicators to quantify the deconstruction of the(SPI),and the use of SPSS analysis and link/space street network grade,determines the priority of resource allocation design of street space elements,transformation and guide Cross Gallery pedestrian space and pedestrian traffic behavior guidance.In this paper,the main city in space and road construction along Hing Wah Street as object.From the perspective of qualitative and quantitative analysis and research the application of L&P theory,using theoretical analysis and empirical research combined,consulting literature,field investigation and questionnaire survey,data statistics and analysis and other methods,running status index set.Through the quantitative index factor analysis,get the space allocation method for cross overall foot traffic design elements such as the research conclusions to guide.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part begins with the research.Discussed the background,purpose and significance,at the same time,the object of study was described the concept and definition of scope,to develop a research framework.The second part of the research literature,analyzing the research progress and abroad based on foot and traffic theory carding,analysis of the L&P theory and its application of relevant practice,applicability research and application related to pedestrian traffic.The third part through to the Shenyang city Tiexi District Cross Gallery(construction road and Hing Wah Street)field investigation,collecting relevant data,to determine operational status index system(SPI),and then establish the link/factors related to spatial analysis model.Set analysis factors applicable to the construction of pedestrian traffic system.The fourth part studies based on the street design quantitative analysis and L&P's condition.In the deep proposition of "walking space and interactive activities and optimization".Proposed pedestrian traffic analysis method and planning strategies based on the results of L&P theory application.The fifth part is the conclusion chapter.To summarize the overall results,are proposed according to different levels of street pedestrian traffic optimization suggestions,summary analysis method and planning strategies,guiding the future pedestrian traffic planning and research.
