Acoustics Doppler velocity measure device is widely used in underwater acoustics navigation system. High accuracy underwater acoustics navigation technology is a key skill to safeguard underwater vehicles work safety, which will be mostly used in the future.Underwater Acoustics Doppler Current Profiler is based on the acoustic theories to calculate the underwater current velocity. Underwater Acoustics Doppler Current Profiler's digital signal processing circuit designed in this thesis is the core part of the whole system, which has important effect of the system performance.The realization methods of Acoustics Doppler Current Profiler?measurement theories of different layers current. Based on working tasks and modes, the discussion and designation of the Acoustics Doppler Current Profiler's digital signal processing circuit is given in this paper.The hardware circuit designation and software program frame programming is accomplished in this thesis based on three TMS320C6416T DSP and one Stratix? EP2S90 FPGA chips.The three DSP core chips are in master-slave structure to resolve the backscattered sound Doppler shift. FPGA coordinated with DSP to responsible for the system configuration?data transmission and serial communication. Backscattered sound signal is sampled by the four high speed ADC chip ADS7945, and is saved by the Ethernet server embedded in FPGA SOPC system. The thesis gives a detailed discussion on the design ideas and realization methods of self- check?serial communication?inner core communication and off-chip resource extension.About the software programming,master chip DSP and slave chip DSP's program frame is accomplished for future used. The ADS7945 band-pass sampling?real-time filtering and correlation operation in frequency domain?Ethernet server embedded in FPGA SOPC system are mainly discussed in the thesis.By testing the individual part of the circuit board, the result shows that Underwater Acoustics Doppler Current Profiler's digital signal processing circuit is stable and reliable,matching the demands of the designation.
