| Target simulator has been widely used in various underwater experiments and played a important role. The target simulator designed by author, is for assisting Sonar equipment to do experiments. It has two functions,one function is to detect the arrival of target signal,then send the saved signal back to Sonar. The other function is to detect and collect the target signal,do Doppler simulation and target strength simulation to the collected signal,then send it back to Sonar. The main work of my graduation research is to design the algorithms, design the hardware system, and realize the algorithms on the hardware platform. The work of my graduation research can also help expand the function of the target simulator in the future. The main board of my hardware platform is OMAP-L138 board.The main work of the software design part, is aiming at detecting clockwise pulse signal and linear frequency modulation signal. The main algorithm is Notch filter algorithm and Correlation detection algorithm. We have done many simulations about the algorithms by MATLAB, and also realized the algorithms on CSS platform using C language. In order to get the accurate arrival time of target signal, we design and simulate the related algorithm, and also realize the algorithm on CCS platform using C language. In the paper, we also introduce the Doppler simulation process, do the related simulation and realize the algorithm.The main board of the hardware system is OMAP-L138 board, the whole hardware system also consists of receiving signal board and sending signal board. The hardware part of the paper is about the three boards, introduce the detail of the properties and principles of the three boards. The graduation research has finished debugging the whole hardware system and realizing the algorithms using C language.At the last stage of the research, we do test to the whole target simulator, do experiments and analysis,and the result of the research is introduced in the last part of the paper. |
