With the rapid increase of the price of crude oil constantly and the emissions regulations stringent increasingly all around the world,the waste heat utilization system used in the field of marine diesel engine became the inevitable trend. Related research with it's design and development is also imperative. Modeling for the waste heat utilization system, simulate the practical system for their actual working state, by controlling the main diesel engine of changing exhaust gas flow and exhaust gas temperature, analysis the reason why the main parameters of waste heat utilization system with the change of external changes of their dynamic response characteristics.The main points of this thesis are as follows:After the schemes are established, to determine the waste heat utilization device, then doing analysis of the economy of using the waste heat utilization system on ship.According to the workflow of crew and using modular modeling method, the waste heat utilization system is divided into power turbine, exhaust gas boiler, steam turbine three systems and establishing their mathematical model. Then according to mathematical models,simulation models of the waste heat utilization system are established on the Matlab/Simulink simulation platform.Simulation studies have been made for the established model. Based on the change of host load and environmental temperature, made a steady state simulation and variable condition simulation on the waste heat utilization system. To verify the accuracy of the simulation model by the way of comparison between the simulation results and the related data. At last, made different levels of disturbance to the system, do the research of the condition when disturbances changed, also the exhaust gas flow and the exhaust gas temperature of the main diesel engine changed, that cause the main parameters of the waste heat utilization system to change, to provide theoretical support of the optimal matching for the marine diesel engine of their waste heat utilization system.
