Individual combat communication system(ICCS)will be the key factor in future battlefield.Therefore,many countries start investigating the ICCS which greatly enhances a soldier' s combat capability.To that end,the study of ICCS platform is of great importance.Firstly,based on the characteristics of ICCS equipment,hardware implementation of baseband processing,DSP and AGC is discussed and put forward in detail.Secondly,key technologies and system specifications are analyzed,which include sensitivity,coverage,networking and interference,ranging and location analysis.Architecture of baseband processing technology is overviewed in four parts,i.e.carrier synchronization,channel estimation,channel decoding module,baseband shaping filter.Finally,the development platform and the test environment of ICCS are shown with seven subsystems and four instruments,which verify the feasibility of the developed ICCS baseband processing subsystem.Then,the verification results will be successfully applied in future engineering implementation.
