With the continuous develepment of smart gird construction, Power Line Carrier Communication also palys an important role.And it is an indispensable means of communication for power system,meanwhile it optimizes the allocation of power resource.As the improving communication quality requirements for power system,traditional analog equipment is disable to meet the actual needs at present.So a semi-digital,digital power line carrier communication system and multi-channel multiplexer are designed and implemented in the paper.First,we adopt digital processing approach about audio in a semi-digital power line carrier communication system, its techniques of modulation and demodulation is analog Single Side Band.We focus on discussing digital system design and realization in the paper.The method of modulation and demodulation is improved on the basis of semi-digital system.The system is digital system with digital Single Side Band modulation and demodulation based on DSP and FPGA. The key technologies of multi-channel multiplexer are discussed in the paper, including speech compression,digital multiplexing and v.34 modem . Also we complete its design.In the paper , TMS320C6416T DSP is used as the main processor,and EP1C12Q FPGA as co-processor and controller in the design of digital hardware platform,while simultaneously EP1C12Q FPGA as CPU in the multi-channel multiplexer.So a complete power line carrier communication system has been constituted on hardware platform.
