Research On The Design Of Little Theater Based On The Transformation Of Industrial Buildings

From the era of industrial revolution with heavy smoke to the society now full of high technology and information,people have increasingly high demand on the quality of life.Cultural industry expanding is outstanding during the growing cultural consumption,the demand for building container is also growing,various economic and social factors provide a favorable opportunity for the transformation of old industrial buildings to small entertainment building.This article starts from the background of old industrial buildings,through the analysis of existing small performing art building which transformed from industrial building in domestic and abroad place,expound the restricting factors 、 basic principle and the method on transformation.During the process of transformation,the first and the most important is to meet the functionality as a theater,but we also should pay special attention to its economic factors and cultural factors.Of course the sustainability of renew and experimenting of theater can not be ignored.The transforming of old industrial building to small art building is not only the inheritance and development of the old industrial buildings,but also innovation of thinking about construction of small art building.The first part talks about the background and development process of transformation.The second part starts to analysis the relevance and the disadvantages of them,and proposes the principle of transformation.The third part discusses the design methods of the transformation,including the insertion and reorganization of space,the infiltration of space,the extension of space and the transforming of space.This part summarizes the principles and methods that should be followed in the design,analyzes and compares several design cases,and puts forward the reference concerns and suggestion for design.
