Abstract/Summary:
In order to improve the FSC racing high performance,improve the car after the lightweight design processing possible hidden dangers,in this paper,through analyzing the aerodynamic performance for the car.After reviewed relevant literature at home and abroad,computational numerical simulation and wind tunnel test data,this topic in the North University of China study on formula one car aerodynamics analysis as the goal,content to this topic from the following areas are studied.First on racing car aerodynamics theory and racing outflow field numerical simulation theory for discussion analysis;second according to students racing car design contest rules,according to automobile aerodynamics principle,combined automotive design,and automobile theory related theory,using three dimensional Software CATIA draws three group different of racing model,using the software ANSYS with mesh generation on whole car,using FLUENT software under the same boundary conditions,respectively on three group different racing model for analysis simulation,to get the optimal model.Through a visual interface to view selected parts of a model of force and airflow around car,proposed adding the car aerodynamic suits design.According to racing speed distribution and trace around racing pressure cloud images and other,local location on the car model is optimized,so as to reduce the drag coefficient of car models.Then,through the aerodynamic suits design experience,choosing the right airfoil use Profili,using CATIA to draw the front wing and rear wing and diffuser device.Comparative analysis of installation of aerodynamic parameters of different combinations of racing cars,using FLUENT software,respectively with aerodynamic suite and no aerodynamic suit car model in flow field analysis of the simulation under different speeds and study the influence of aerodynamic suits on the car aerodynamics.By Aerodynamic suite,provide aerodynamic down force for racing characteristics,so as to ensure the car’s maneuverability and power performance at high speeds and high speed turns.Finally,through the FSC car body design,simulation and optimization design to summarize the entire process,results of research for the North University of China of racing car designed and optimized to provide a reference.
