Study On Localization Design Of Urban Waterfront Landscape

With the development of economy and the acceleration of urbanization process,landscape design gains more and more attention these years.But at the meantime,it also encounters a series of pro blems under the rapid development,such as the impact of foreign culture and design philosophy,i nadequate protection of landscape with local characteristics,which resulting in similarities in lan dscapes.The disappearance of local characteristics also aroused people’s awareness of the local la ndscape,and began to explore the new method to protect regional characteristics of the local land scapes.Local landscapes originate from rural areas,it’s the embodiment of local people,nature and land,as well as the regional characteristics and culture.In the landscape design,appropriate use of loca l landscape elements can easily cause people to resonate and present the geographical characterist ics.The use of innate hydrophilic characteristics of people in the combination of the waterfront la ndscape and the local landscape elements will arouse people’s new recognition of the local landsc ape,shaping the geographical characteristics of the landscape.The paper uses the following chapters to study the rural design of waterfront landscape.The first chapter mainly studies the current situation and level of the study of the local landscape at home and abroad.The second chapter introduces the concept of the local area,classifies the native landscapes and explains the characteristics of the native landscapes,and deepens the understanding of the native landscape elements,and then enumerate the two domestic waterfront local landscape elements to analyze.The third chapter introduces the different types of local landscape elements extraction methods and emphasizes the meaning of the application of local landscape elements in waterfront landscape design.The fourth chapter starts from the bearing elements of the waterfront landscape,summarizes the design principles that should be followed in the design of the waterfront landscape design,and analyzes the concrete expression of the native landscape elements at the same time.In the fifth chapter,the combination of theory and practice of the use of local landscape elements in waterfront is given in the form of design examples.The sixth chapter concludes with the reflection and prospect of the rural design of waterfront landscape.The paper is mainly elaborated by the arrangement of classification-extraction-expression-the practice,and combine the local landscape elements and waterfront landscape design to explore specific methods to the start the waterfront landscape design,emphasizing the local landscape elements application significance,hoping to further arouse people’s attention to the elements of the local landscape,and to provide some reference for the waterfront landscape design in the future.
