The Interoperability Research For IFC-based BIM Models And Green Building Analysis Software

With the continuous development of social economy,the total investment of China's construction industry nearly 10 trillion in recent years,and completed more than 4 billion m2 an annual.The architecture,engineering and construction(AEC)industry is a high energy-consuming industries,building energy-saving situation is grim.Both the national and individual give more and more attention to energy consumption and the environment comfort,building energy efficiency and green building to be an important measures of sustainable development of the AEC industry.Building Information Modeling(BIM)is a parametric digital model that can store data for the entire life cycle of the building,covering the entire AEC industry.BIM has greatly improved the efficiency and accuracy of building energy efficiency design,to minimize the duplication of work,and making the project information sharing significantly improved.However,the interoperability between BIM software is poor,and information serious loss during sharing,eventually formed “Information Island”.The establishment of an open and unified BIM standard is an effective way to solve the problem of “Information Island”.This paper studies the interoperability of building information modeling and green building analysis based on IFC schema.Firstly,introduce the development of BIM technology and the application of green building analysis.The common green building evaluation standard is compared,and analysis the difference between traditional green building analysis method and BIM technology analysis method is compared,and establish accuracy evaluation criteria according to the relevant evaluation standard.Secondly,review the development of IFC and gb XML,and detailed description how does the IFC and gbXML represent building information and different,the existing problems of the standard.Thirdly,test the interoperability between the BIM tools,BIM model and the green building analysis software Ecotect based on IFC and gbXML schema.Explain the IFC and gb XML files themselves contain the types of entities and the types,and causes of information loss during interoperability,and proposes an operable improvement method focus on information loss.Finally,through an example to verify the improvement method,summed up through the interoperability to complete the green building analysis which analysis items.In this paper,IFC schema and application methods are analyzed,and tested the interoperability between BIM tools,explicit which can be analysis by interoperability between BIM tools based on IFC and gb XML schema.To further improve the Interoperability of BIM tools provide new methods.
