Permanent magnet governor is a non-contact magnetic transmission device.It gradually replaces many other power transmission equipments in the field of modern industry because of its simple operation,soft startup,soft halt,isolated vibration,allowing the deviation error and well adaptability to harsh conditions.At present,the permanent magnet governors on the market usually transfer the torque and rotating speed by useing the air gap length or the axial meshing area of conductor rotor and permanent magnet rotor.But it ignores the axial extension in the process of the axial movement,which will bring great disadvantage to equipment modification and application in engineering.In order to solve this problem,this paper presents a new permanent magnet governor with rotary angle,which not only solves the problem of insufficient space for equipment modification in engineering,but also retains the advantage of high efficiency of traditional structure.The paper firstly introduces the principle of rotary-angle permanent magnet governor,and contrastes the magnetic properties of the rotary-angle permanent magnet governor and the traditional permanent magnet governor.A two-dimensional model of a rotary-angle permanent magnet governor is established in ansoft Maxwell to conduct its finite element analysis and to analyze its magnetic field lines,magnetic density and eddy current and other magnetic properties.The three-dimensional finite element analysis shows that the range of stable operation of rotary-angle permanent magnet governor in the speed control process is greater than the traditional,which lays the foundation for the subsequent study of the rotary-angle permanent magnet governor.which lays the foundation for the subsequent study of the rotary-angle permanent magnet governor.Secondly,the topological structure is given in this paper.The model of the rotary-angle permanent magnet governor is analyzed,and its magnetic circuit design principles are given.Experimental analysis of the rotary-angle permanent magnet governor verifies the theoretical feasibility of this new governor.This paper solves the problem that the size of the inner and the outer air gap is not equal if the conductor copper ring is arranged according to the weak magnetic field,and finally realizes the uniform configuration of the conductor rotor.Finally,the prototype of the rotary angle permanent magnet governor is designed in this paper.The effects of main factors such as conductor rotor,yoke material,permanent magnet,air gap length and air gap flux density on torque and rotational speed transmission performance are analyzed respectively.By selecting appropriate parameters,the prototype physical model is given.Then its performance is studied,and the configuration of the weak magnetic field is obtained.
