Prefabricated Wooden Structures Applied Strategy Research

Wood is an everlasting architecture material and preferred by architects until now due to its profound attributes in structure,aesthetics as well as special value for environment which attracts much attention.Wooden building has a long history in China.Early in 1000 BC,wooden structure became the post and beam construction in ancient Egypt and Greek and wood truss was a matured skill in ancient Rome.Wood was widely used in traditional western buildings and developed along with brick and stone architectures.After thousands years of exploration,ancient Chinese had created wooden architectures in its own style,from palace,shrines,temples to normal residential buildings.Modern wood architecture is becoming a niche building type in China.On 31 st August 2015 issued was Action Plan for Promoting Production and Application of Green Building Materials,which is a boundary in China for wooden structure since there was no such regulation for wooden structure before.The action plan dictates that development and application of wooden structure may be advocated in low-rise building,such as government-funded schools,kindergartens,elderly nurseries and landscapes,as well as flat-to-sloping roof conversion projects.Along with the industrial revolution,especially in recent 50 years,wooden building becomes a compound of traditional concept and high technology,which involves in the selection,processing,design and installation of wooden material,in industrialized countries of northern Europe and America.In northern America,wooden structure is in the leading position of market.In Canada,timber is a pillar industry,which forms an industrialized,standardized and matured installation environment for wooden buildings.Laminated wood is used widely in Japan and over a half of new buildings are wooden.In addition to residential buildings,wooden structures are vastly used in large public buildings,such as factories,hotels and gymnasiums as combined structures of wood-steel,wood-concrete and laminated support.Based on the results of open building theory,this article researches the application of assembled wooden structure field,strategies and the construction progresses(production,construction methods,part production)and application feedback(adaptability,safety and durability)of wooden structures.An open building has an open structure system with large support space,vertical integral setup and flexible interior space allocation,featuring good durability of fillers through change and maintenance.The theoretical results in assembled wooden structure field are of practical significance in industrialization and marketization,which is good for its development in China.
