Under the influence of the rapid development of the world economy,China's cities have carried out a series of economic structure and industrial structure transformation.The traditional industrial production mode is gradually replaced by the third industry.The wave of the post industrial era is rapidly rising in the big cities with advanced economic development.Its characteristic is the traditional industry no longer has played a leading role in the industrial structure in the city,and will no longer be the main source of economic growth,replaced the dominance of industrial society and technology in the city.The decline of the industry,resulting in a large number of idle factories,coupled with the rapid expansion of cities,land tension,urban construction needs a new development ideas.Under the influence of all kinds of conditions,the concept of "space regeneration" is referred to the urban construction.The concept of "space regeneration" covers a wide range,and this paper focuses on the application of the concept of "space regeneration" in the transformation of industrial buildings in Ji'nan.Ji'nan plays an important role in the history of Chinese industry and is one of the most important industrial sources in China.As an early port city,the industrial development of Ji'nan is very influential in the whole country,and it involves different industries such as machinery manufacturing,food processing,textile industry and so on.However,with the decline of traditional industries and the adjustment of industrial structure,the factory was once brilliant,leaving only the decline of the industrial buildings and even the verge of disappearing.How to coordinate the relationship between protection and utilization is one of the mainproblems facing these industrial heritages.On the use of industrial heritage,from the western countries.As early as the middle of the twentieth Century,western scholars have realized the importance of the reuse of industrial heritage,and began to join in the research and reuse of industrial heritage.For example: the United States SOHO,UK,Ted Ironbridge gorge Museum of art.These cases have attracted the attention of domestic researchers,and a large number of plant reconstruction has been carried out in China.For example: back Beijing 798 Art District,Shanghai,Wuxi,China National Museum of industry and commerce.All of these provide a powerful reference for the study of plant space regeneration.Firstly,the paper introduces the background,present situation and related concepts of the research,and takes the industrial heritage of Ji'nan as the main research object.The first of the industrial heritages in Ji'nan carried out a detailed research work,the research object including HSBC mills,cotton factory,four cotton factory,Ji'nan paper factory.And the present situation of industrial heritage in Ji'nan area were analyzed,dig out the industrial heritage in Ji'nan can use the value,including historical value,economic value,aesthetic value and so on,and find out some problems existing in the industrial heritage in Ji'nan or in the transformation of the process will be faced with,and put forward relevant countermeasures.At the end of the article,the author will set up a set of strategies and methods for the protection and utilization of industrial heritage in Ji'nan,aiming at the present situation of industrial heritage in Ji'nan.Combining with the domestic and foreign outstanding cases,the author puts forward some reforming models.
