As an efficient mean to achieving small group and large-density's city and suburban railway transportation, the high-speed train brings people comfortable experience,at the same time attracting much more attention to its passive safety. It is a very important issue that how to evacuate passengers from the vehicle quickly, effectively and safely,in the case of a possible accident. The study showed that the internal space and layout parameters have a significant effect on emergency evacuation when a large number of personnel need to evacuate urgently. Therefore,it is of great theoretical and engineering value to study how the interior space and layout factors of the train affect the emergency evacuation. This can optimize the layout of the train's interior space during the design stage and enhance the safety of the vehicle effectively. From the perspective of vehicle space and layout design, combined with the application of pedestrian simulation dynamics model, this thesis studied the impact of high-speed train interior space and layout parameters on emergency evacuation. In general, the research work in this thesis could be summarize as below:(1)Through simulating the FRA's experiment, verifing and validating the feasibility of utilizing Legion software to study emergency evacuation on high platform condition.(2)Analyzing the factors that affecting the emergency evacuation of the train, which including space and layout factors, emergency evacuation scene factors, passenger attribute factors.Respectively, demonstrating and determining the ranges of the space and layout factors, typical emergency evacuation scenarios and passengers' gender-age distribution. And then,a train emergency evacuation time model was established.(3)Using simulation method to study how the space and layouts's respective factors independently influence the evacuation time, egress flow and coach crowdedness in two scenarios, where evacuation to platform through all the side doors or only one door is required. And establishing models to describe the respective impact of corridor width, door width and seat pitch on evacuation time.(4)Based factorial and orthogonal design, this thesis explores the space parameters' main and interaction effect in two different emergency evacuation scenarios. Finally,a multi-factor regression model is established to analyze the space parameters' influence on emergency evacuation time. The results show that every single parameter-evacuation time's curve remain the same tendency between two scenarios.,Within a given range, the emergency evacuation time decreases significantly with each spatial parameter and eventually stabilizes.;At the same time, the changes in seat arrangement cause a much less influence than the door number's adjustment. In the multi-factor experimental study, the results show that pitch of seats have the greatest effect on the emergency evacuation time, which corridor width and seat pitch?door width and seat pitch have significant interaction effection. The research results provide a theoretical basis for optimizing the design of internal space layout of high-speed train and improving the passive safety of vehicles..
