The development mode of China's traditional extensive residential leads to the great waste of resources,low degree of mechanization,serious environmental pollution problems,poor safety performance,a large number of countries to develop policies and regulations to promote the development of steel structure residential housing,in order to change the disadvantages of the traditional construction mode,but the domestic steel structure is still in the initial stage,the construction of related parties lack of information exchange,component system versatility,construction difficult problems in the process of development.In view of the above problems,this paper puts forward the research on the application of steel structure residence based on BIM technology,which aims to promote the application of steel structure residence through the new technology and mode of BIM.As a new type of steel structure residential building structure system in housing industrialization,a recyclable sustainable development architecture reuse,industrialized production,mechanical processing,general production,assembly of construction,the whole process reduces the number of personnel in the construction,regression of the demographic dividend,current labor costs increased,with a greater promotion advantage.BIM technology has the characteristics of visual simulation,can guide the residential components effective design and production and construction;at the same time,BIM technology is a platform for information integration and sharing,also can make the project of different parties involved in timely communication and communication.The steel structure house has the characteristics of industrialization and assembly,and the BIM technology has the advantages of information sharing and virtual construction,and the effective combination of them becomes extremely urgent.Based on the research of the BIM technology related theory,elaborated the BIM technology characteristics and core value,related technology application software,BIM technology and exchange standard and architectural design are summarized,highlighting the BIM technology of virtual design and construction and the cooperation of different parties involved in the advantage;at the same time,expounds the development status,characteristics of steel structure the structure of residential steel structure residential housing system at home and abroad,points out the existing problems and the gap between the development of steel structure residential home,on the basis of further analysis of the application value and the content of BIM in the steel residence;finally,the advantages and problems of steel structure residential above theory research,obtained BIM technology is complementary well,combined with the actual project and practice research,discussed the BIM technology in the steel structure residential planning and design stage,component Application of stage of production and construction.Through theoretical discussion and actual case analysis,we can provide practical application of BIM technology in steel structure house,and provide help for the rapid development of steel structure residence in our country.
