| Baigou is a deputy town of Gaobeidian city in Hebei Province.With the reform and opening-up policy,consumption of industrial water and residential water increased sharply as the growth of population and enterprises.However,the surface water source could not make full use due to the water shortage and worse water quality.Consequently,further water supply planning is an urgent need in order to solve the water supply problem effectively and ensure the increasing water requirement.The water supply scale,water treatment plant location,process scheme and so on were studied to determine the feasibility of the project.The feasibility analysis and project design of the South-to-North Water Diversion plant was made from the water supply planning,water demand forecasting,comparative analysis of treatment process,process design,environmental impact and protection and as so on several aspects according to the《General plan of Baigou city(2009-2030)》,combining with the current water supply problems.The recent water demand is 75000 m3/d and long-term water demand is 123000 m3/d through the various water prediction methods.Thus,the water plant scale for recent water demand is determined at 50000m3/d.The treatment process were determined as mechanical mixing + folded plate flocculation + inclined tube sedimentation + V-filter + sludge concentration + centrifugal dewatering through the relative analysis of process with pretreatment,coagulating sedimentation,filtration,disinfection and sludge disposal.Meanwhile,the pre-oxidation and sodium hypochlorite disinfection were also used to guarantee the effluent quality to meet the 《Standards for drinking water quality》(GB5749-2006).Results showed that the technical schemes were feasible and reasonable,also could satisfy the needs of water requirement. |
