Water resources as an important factors, which restrict the development of the Alxa economic zone. With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization, water shortage has become one of the key issue of the development of the economy. Since the established of Alxa economic zone, rely on rare groundwater resources to solve the needs of the local enterprises, the development of industrial enterprises had been impacted greatly, which should be solved by the introduction of surface water. In addition, the groundwater is an important element to support of ecological and environmental. Currently, the situation of groundwater resources in Alax is quite serious, which has been overdrafted severely and caused the underground water level drop considerably, which easy to cause disasters such as ground subsidence, ground fissures, ground collapse, also the seeds of deterioration for the local ecological environment. On the other hand, the water supply network of surface water has been built in the park. Due to the problems left over by history, it has not been given full play to the role for local enterprises, which caused the serious waste of the present situation of water supply capacity. Meanwhile, the water supply network, which include the municipal water supply network, ecological water supply network and the Dakang water supply network, were anfractuosity and need to be reformed urgently. Therefore, the project is put forward in this background.The basic idea of this project is the renewal of water supply network and to realize the complete coverage of surface water of water supply network. By renewal of the water supply network, the original supply network system were formed into two systems, one is called comprehensive system which includes the production using water, municipal greening using water, fire using water, another is called living water supply network. These two supply networks are operation independently under normal condition, and mutual supply in the case of disasters and accidents through opening the valves in connection point. The aim of this study is to protect groundwater and using surface water suitably. Meanwhile, it is a foundation process for sustainable development of development zone.
