The FSEC racing car's chassis consists of the frame,suspension system,steering system,braking system,transmission system.Its main function is to accept the power of the motor and ensure that the racing car can be moving normally according to the driver's manipulation.whether it can design rationally reasonably affect the performance of FSEC racing car.In this paper,the design of chassis' s each system and the handling stability simulation analysis of FSEC racing car are studied.Firstly,according to the competition rules and automobile layout methods,choose the main parameters of the racing car,determine the selection of the system assembly,and design the suspension system,braking system,transmission system and steering system one by one.Secondly,complete the design of the frame and components used by CATIA,and analyzes the frame of frame and the key parts with finite element method used by ANSYS Workbench.Finally,the application of CarSim and Simulink to build FSEC racing car dynamics model,according to the relevant test standards of handling and stability,design CarSim test conditions,simulate and analysis on the FSEC racing car.Game result shows that the developed FSEC racing car has a good dynamic performance,brake and steering stability,successfully completed the full competition and achieved excellent results.
