The Study On The Suzhou Ubran Spatial Growth Characteristicsand Its Mechanism Since 1990

Since 1990, the spacial scale of Suzhou central city has expanded rapidly and the urban interior space is constantly optimizing and restructuring. According to the Neo-Marxism Urban Theory, the process of the urban spatial growth is also the process of capital circulation and accumulation, that is city space changes coincide with the logic of capital.The paper based on the Neo-Marxism Urban Theory, trys to build an analytical framework of the urban spatial growth mechanism from the perspective of "Time-Space fix" to give an analysis on the mechanism of the Suzhou urban spatial growth since 1990. Lastly, the paper puts forward space optimization strategies of Suzhou central city based on the development dilemma of "Time-Space fix" mechanism.Firstly, the paper analyses the intrinsic logic relation between urban spatial growth and "Time-Space fix", meanwhile, it constructs an analysis framework of the urban spatial growth mechanism.Secondly, from "Space fix", "Time fix" and both in mixed, the paper analyzes Suzhou urban spatial growth mechanism since 1990. The conclusions are as follows:(1) "Space fix" is the main motivation to promote the growth of urban space in 1990s, a large number of international capital of space promoted the expansion of urban space during this period. (2) "Time fix" and "Space fix" coupling in mixed as long as "Capital spatialization" and "spacial capitalization" coupling in mixed promote the external expansion of urban space and the internal restruction of urban space since 2000.Finally, based on the multiple difficulties which the mechanism of "Time-Space fix" faces, the paper puts forward space optimization strategies of Suzhou city,Including: adhere to the fairness and justice concept of city development, pay attention to the ecologization of spatial growth, build multiple and open public space and plan space according to the actual demand.
