The Project Cost Control Based On BIM

Within the construction industry in our country there are serious waste and low efficiency phenomenon,Every stage of the construction work must pay attention to cost control.At the same time,more and more construction business unit is established,if these units want to survive in the severe market competition,they must try their best to do a good job in construction cost control work.With the development and application of BIM technology in domestic,combined with BIM technology related design,budget,cost control and so on all have begun to rise,for the project at various stages of whole process cost management to provide data support.The project construction cost control information system based on BIM technology will become the key to solve the cost overruns.This paper first introduces the present situation of the construction cost control,and the reasons of the status quo,Introducing BIM technology into the construction of the whole project,construction the cost control system that based on BIM technology.And then,analyze the cost of system,the possibility of application in construction engineering.To create a platform of cost control based on BIM technology,using Revit software to build the project model,be able to be reflected adequately the advantages of BIM technology in the construction project cost control.Then,under the guidance of the construction cost control system based on BIM model system in a project,make the control in advance,matter and afterwards,help builders make cost control optimization,realize real-time monitoring to the whole process of construction cost of the project,avoid the project construction cost overruns phenomenon.In this paper,research has shown that cost control based on BIM technology platform can save construction cost effectively,and points out the existing problems and limitations in practical application.Provide train of thought for the development of cost control system.
