Study On Urban Landscape With Regional Characteristics In Urumqi

With the accelerating process of the urbanization,most of the big cities take on th e same buildings which lack of the unique cultural identity and national features.With the Chinese culture blends with western culture,the features of landscape design was l eft behind,more and more kinds of tough problems appeared.There are many cities in China which had made different progress in creating special landscape.Urum qi as the capital of Xinjiang province,it began to take shape.Urumqi has a strong regio nal feature.It is worthy to show regional feature better in the landscape design of Uru mqi.This thesis studys the geographical features of cities,exploring the landscape des ign and putting forword on idea of the author.The first part of this thesis presents the researching background,researching purp ose and researching significance,and analyse the current reseach situation between do mestic and abroad study,and put forward the research methodology and the framewor k of this thesis.In the second part,elucidating the concept of the geographical feature a nd urban landscape design in details,analyse and summrize the connection of geograp hical feature and urban landscape design,comprehensive feature and influencial factor s,it is the theoretical foundation of this thesis.The third part gives he theoretical guida nce.It provides the principle of the urban landscape design and the methods which bas ed on the situation of the development of urumqi,demands and the theory.The fourth p art is the key part,it analyses the geographical feature of Urumqi,Analysesthree aspect s:the natural features,the humanity and the immateriality.After the ananlys,studying the existing urban landscape design.Analyse from the space structure,architectural from,public works of art and the allocation of green plants.At the end of this part,it presents the existing problems and then analyses the reasons.It aims at providing the reference of development in future.The fifth part comes up with suggestions of optimization measures direct at the third and fourth part.At the end of this thesis,through the investigation of the Urumqi present situation,and suggestions of city develoment,the author prospect the development of Urumqi urban landscape design.
