As socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era,the main contradictions in our society have been transformed into the contradictions between the people’s growing need for a better life and the unbalanced and inadequate development.The landscape pattern and residents’experience of urban green space are directly related to the demand of urban residents for a better life,as well as the formulation of urban greening policy and greening planning.This paper chooses the central urban area of Urumqi(Tianshan District,Shaibak District,Shuimogou District,High-tech Zone)as the research target area,and uses Landsat remote sensing images and social survey data in 2008,2013 and 2017 as data sources,using Envi,ArcGIS,Fragstats and SPSS statistical analysis software to study the change and transformation of landscape pattern area in the target area between 2008and 2017.The spatial and temporal evolution process of landscape pattern and residents’perception experience in Urumqi downtown area were studied by moving matrix analysis,selecting landscape pattern index at type level and landscape level,combining with urban residents’objective analysis and subjective perception of landscape characteristics and changes of green space.The results show that:(1)The landscape area of green space in the study area shows a trend of sustained growth.Greenbelt landscape gradually tends to be diversified and complicated.The green landscape of the study area increased from 90.38㎞~2 in 2008 to 113.34㎞~2 in2017,with a total increase of 22.96㎞~2.The increase of urban green space landscape mainly comes from bare land and construction land,and the total transfer amount is47.15㎞~2.The increase of patch shape index and patch aggregation degree indicates that urban green landscape patches tend to be complex and diversified.(2)The green landscape in the study area presents a fragmentation development model.The fragmentation degree of green space landscape in different urban areas showed an overall upward trend:the number of green space landscape patches in Tianshan,Shaibak,Shuimogou and high-tech areas increased by 292,296,547 and1438 respectively from 2008 to 2017,and the average patch area decreased by 3.19/hm~2,0.33/hm~2,9.963/hm~2 and 0.71/hm~2 from 2008 to 2017.(3)Urban residents have different perceptions of changes in urban green landscape.The most significant perception of urban residents to the change of green space landscape is the increase of the types of urban green space vegetation,followed by the increase of the total area of urban green space landscape,and the increase of small green space patches,accounting for 54.66%,54.16%and 45.84%respectively.(4)Urban residents have a high demand for urban green space and a high degree of concern for the change of urban green space.Different demographic groups have different needs and perceptions of urban green space.Urban residents regard"leisure and recreation"and"exercise"as the main thrust factors to go to green space,and"dust and purification function"and"improving urban climate"as the main attraction factors of urban green space function to residents.Among them,men are more motivated to go to urban green space by"making friends","exercising","leisure and entertainment"than women,and the number of residents who go to green space by"exercising"increases with age.At the same time,the group over 61 is more attractive to"beautify the landscape environment"than the group under 20 when they are attracted by urban green space.
