Research On Landscape Design In Zhangjiakou Mountain Residential Area

With the accelerating urbanization in China,many problems such as heavy traffic,sound and light pollution which is restricting the urban development.The building land area of urban residential is becoming increasingly tense,accordingly,the problem that a large population with relatively little land is becoming particularly prominent,so the vision that seeking harmony between human and nature increase with days.Because the usable ground is diminishing,as a result,on the edge of mountain areas at the city are gradually becoming an important part of modern city planning.Mountain area with its superior ecological environment,natural affinity and unique comfortable living experience are getting more preference.Mountain area is now in the ascendant at northern area.However,lacking of systematic and scientific theoretical support in the process of actual construction,for example,just simply copying the design of residential district from plain to mountain,therefore lead to many serious problems such as ecological environment destruction,lacking of landscape features,diverse functions were not met.To some extent not only affected people’s life quality but also lost city unique local styles.This paper using methods of field researches and investigation to point out the existing problems and influence factors at zhangjiakou’s mountain residential area landscape design.The author puts forward some specific measures for solving the problems timely and hopes to provide some references to mountain residential area landscape design in the future.
