Subject aimed at the study of the han culture of Mawangdui,extract its cultural genes,using the technique of design,innovative design for it,then using it in the packaging design of fragrance products.First of all,through the unearthed relics of Mawangdui,tracing its historical source,study its history and culture,gathering its culture material,categorize it at three levels-physical,behavioral,and spiritual.Secondly,according to the analysis of the han culture,the genes that have the characteristics of han culture are extracted.Thirdly,combining the technique of design,innovative design of cultural genes that was extracted,and exploring the method of innovative design.Fourth,study the existing technique of design,seek the fusion of cultural genes and design,and set the stage for later design practice.Finally,through the selection and extraction of cultural gene,according to the existing innovation of the design methods and the fusion,realizing the redesign of han culture which in Mawangdui,as well as its application in fragrance product packaging.Through the study of design and cultural integration which provide theoretical basis for the design of cultural genes.Through the fusion of the han culture and the packaging of fragrance products,the brand of fragrance products with hunan characteristics is molded to enhance the cultural value of fragrance products.
