Draw Lots Cultural Product Design And Development Study Based On Regional Features Of Southern Fujian

Draw lot is our traditional folk culture.There is a ritual on the first birthday of a baby,and the friends of the family will join the ritual and deliver their wishes and blesses to the baby.The draw lot,to some extent,can be named as the outset of a Chinese life journey.In the new era,especially in recent years,the innovational cultural industry in Chinese are emerging,springing up like a rocket and blending into every aspect of daily life.Under such a circumstance,it seems that traditional cultural products have come to its blossom.This article takes the draw lot culture in southern Fujian as an example.By studying and analyzing the draw lot culture,uncovering,concluding and deciphering the symbols in the draw lot folks,by which the author then acquired the universal properties in the symbols of draw low ritual.The author presents and analyzes the traditional cultural images in southern Fujian from the angel of product’s design and development.Then the author extracts the design elements which are available for product development,and then combines the universal properties of the symbols in draw lot culture together with regional elements in southern Fujian.By referring the similar existing cultural products on the market,using the method of product designing with enjoyment,we can inject the draw lot culture with resilience via cultural products.The author will study the draw lot culture and explore the traditional Chinese culture.By analyzing and studying the draw lot culture’s symbol meaning and social functions,together with theories and methods of product designing,the author categorizes a systematic and effective designing method which is aiming at traditional cultural product designing,which join the traditional Chinese culture and regional folk culture together,and using the modern technology and materials.By this the author will renew the traditional culture and show it to people.It is expected that the redesigning will recall the memories of traditional Chinese culture which has been long forgotten by people,and hoped that this will contribute to the protection and inherit of traditional Chinese culture.
