Research About The Landscape Design Way Of Danjin Canal’s Heritage Corridor In The Jintan City Centre

In the south Yangtze,Grand Canal is the main artificial line.There are many branch canals between the nature river line and the Grand Canal.Danjin canal is one of the important branch canals which is connected the Grand Canal and Taihu Lake.This paper is about discussing and researching the landscape design of branch canals’heritage corridor, the landscape design of Danjin canal’s heritage corridor in the jintan city centre as an example.The research mainly includes the following aspects:1 Reviewing and summarizing research about the home’s and abroad’s canal case,including ChonGae canal’s landscape design in the South Korea,lona canal’s restoration project in the city centre in the Lyon,France,the landscape design of Grand Canal in the Tongzhou,the landscape design of Grand Canal in the taierzhuang and the landscape design of Grand Canal in the suzhou old city.The deep investigation is about the landscape design of Grand Canal in the suzhou old city.To explore the construction situation about the landscape design of the canal in the city centre.Finally,there are many revelations to the landscape design of Danjin canal’s heritage corridor in the jintan city centre.2 Danjin canal’s heritage corridor in the jintan city centre were investigated. The survey found many aspects.First,Danjin canal’s heritage corridor is connected in 60-90s.The canal line is the landscape axis.Danjin canal in the jintan city centre is segmented into five parts,including old area,new area,beauty area,industry area and riverside line.The principles including protection priority, overall planning,landscape diversity and excellent management.3 Researching the heritage types and overall characteristics of Danjin canal’s heritage corridor in the jintan city centre.Danjin river has many overall characteristics,including multiple space stacked,cultural heritage mixed, landscape patch distributed,regional intermitted and cultural modernity.Danjin canal’s heritage are divided into two categories.One is natural resources.The other is arts and humanities.4 Presenting the design strategy and recovery measures according the heritage constitution in the different landscape section.(1)To establish settlement culture experience area and non-material cultual showing hall in the old area.(2) To establish the canal business dietrict and the new building representing from canal culture.(3)To display the natural resources in the beauty area.The most important in this area is to strengthen management maintenance.(4)To establish industry protection demonstration and industrial cultural landscape in industry area.(5)To establish canal cultural landscape line which is mixed rest,entertainment and education in the riverside line.5 Showing the way of deepen landscape design combining cultural heritage and modern design.To establish a overall canal corridor landscape by the way of planning corridor traffic routes,corridor explanation system. Adding some small buildings and convenient facilities is the way to perfecting scenic spot function.Through the study of this article,I hope offering effective guildance to the landscape design of Danjin canal’s heritage corridor in the jintan city centre.I also hope providing some experiences and references to the landscape design of branch canals in the city centre.
