Research On Waterfront Landscape Design Under The Concept Of Cultural Heritage Corridor

After the successful application of the Grand Canal in 2014,the state proposed the construction of a "canal cultural belt" to bring the development of canal culture back into people's view.From the point of view of cultural heritage corridor and waterfront landscape design,this paper discusses how to build waterfront landscape along the canal,which provides a useful reference for the construction of waterfront landscape in cities along the canal.First of all,from the perspective of cultural heritage protection,this paper summarizes the characteristics of canal cultural heritage,historical evolution,current situation of canal protection and development,and expounds the relevant concepts of waterfront landscape and canal cultural heritage,and studies the classic cases of canal waterfront landscape construction at home and abroad,and sum up the experience,hoping to guide the waterfront landscape construction of the canal in Siyang section.Secondly,it analyzes the existing problems of the canal waterfront landscape in Siyang section and puts forward some solutions.Then we study the composition and value of Siyang cultural heritage and discuss how to construct a new waterfront landscape in the heritage corridor.Finally,taking the construction of the canal waterfront landscape in Siyang section as an example,this paper puts forward the construction strategy of the waterfront landscape along the canal coast,and integrates the Siyang characteristic Surabaya culture and Mazu culture into the design of the canal waterfront landscape.This paper studies the present situation of canal development,cultural heritage of canal,historical development of coastal city and waterfront landscape design theory,and finds out the waterfront of canal.There is an important connection between water landscape design and local cultural development.It is proposed to add regional cultural elements to the construction of waterfront landscape,to form tourist and sightseeing routes along the canal through the construction of waterfront landscape along the canal coast,so as to achieve the protection of the corridor of the canal cultural heritage,and finally to realize the sustainable development of the canal cultural heritage.
