Study On The Steel Coils For Containerized Transportation Scheme

Due to the advantages in handling and multimodal transport,containers are usually applied to "door to door" transportation.Coils transporting in container tends to be increasing.Current fixed methods of coils in containers are from experiences of some shipping companies.Because of heavy weight of coils and easy to roll,accidents often happen due to unreasonable dunnage and securing.However,studies about relative calculation and analysis are still rare.In order to reduce and prevent the occurrence of such accidents and disputes,it is necessary to study the steel coil transport scheme in container.In order to reduce the accidents caused by unreasonable loading and fixed method of steel coils in container,and avoid unnecessary losses of the shippers and carriers,this paper analyses force acting on steel coils in container of different transport environment including ships,roads and railways,according to the advanced mode of sea land combined transport.Determines the setting up principles of beams by analyzing transverse and longitudinal cargo weight distribution in container according to the structure characteristics of container bottom;then calculate the required section size under different weight according to bearing capacity of the wooden beam;determines fixed balance model according to the reinforcement strength and external force of goods.Classifies respectively for light,medium and heavy weight steel coils according to different weight and size,designs fixed scheme to meet external force and strength of the containers,and shows the scheme by Visio drawing.Finally,combined with an example of calculation and analysis,this paper summarizes unreasonable points in the process of the actual steel coil transportation,and gives the steel coil transportation supervision measures.The steel coil transportation scheme provided in this paper can not only regulates the operation of loading and securing,but also provides basis for the safety check of other self-made schemes,and guidance scheme for wire rod,cable and other similar goods,which has great theoretical and practical significance.
