Study Of Water Supply From MuGuan Island Reservoir To Qingdao City

To fulfill the requirement of the scientific development concept and hydraulic sustainable development ,how to deal with the damage caused by flood and waterlogging, water shortage,water enviroment aggravation, water and soil erosion and other problems,is one of the long-term and extremely difficult task which the hydraulic workers are facing. The water shortage has become the outstanding factor that holds back the development of economy and cities today as well as in the days to come. To utilize,protect and save water resources reasonablely is the objective demand for sustainable development of cities. Making full use of water,raising the city domestic water quality,supplying water by the quality,using water of fine quality economically and improving the environment of investment is mainly depend on allocating,utilizing and protecting water resources scientificly. Nowdays and in the future,only by optimizing the allocation of the water resources can we realize the harmonious sustainable development of water resource, economy, society, and environment and the development relationship between human beings and water.With the development of national economy, the increasing of the population and the improvement of people's living standard, the demand for water resource in QingDao city is also on the rise. The water resources has become the outstanding factor that holds back the development of economy. The water resources in MuGuan island reservoir play an important role in the water sustainable development of QingDao city. Integrated with the realistic situation of the drainage as well as the theory of hydrology and water resources,the related laws and standard,,this essay,expounding bearing capacity of the water resources and evaluating(calculating) the model, will mainly make a research in the following aspects:(1)The present condition of water supply and demand in QingDao city;(2)The quantity of the water resources in MuGuan island reservoir;(3)The quality of the water resources in MuGuan island reservoir;(4)The feasibility of offering the water in MuGuan island reservoir to QingDao city. The result of this research will provide scientific basises for the design scale,the design abstraction discharge of the channel and the hatch construction. We can benefit from the result to exploit,use and allocate the limited water resources scientificly in QingDao city .It is also significant to improve the bearing capacity of water resources for social economy and water environment and realize sustainable utilization of social economy.
